We are excited to invite you to the 2nd Alumni Meetup Greece 2026—an exclusive gathering for Greek alumni of Czech universities and Czech students currently studying in Greece, as well as Greek students interested in studying in Czechia. This time, we’re diving into the past with a special archaeological focus! Join us at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Athens for a curated evening that bridges the gap between Czech education and Greek heritage. This event is a unique platform for alumni and students to reconnect and celebrate their shared academic journey.

Event Attendees

  • Greek alumni of Czech universities: Greek attendees of Czech universities, whether recently graduated or seasoned alumni of degree or exchange programs.

  • Czech students currently pursuing degrees or exchanges at Greek universities. 

  • Greek students: Greek university students interested in studying in Czechia.

  • Local Czech and foreign authorities: Institute of Classical Archaeology, Czech Association Greece, Czech Compatriot Society in Athens, local ministries and other partners.

  • Archaeological Lecture: Find out more about both the history of the field and current excavations across the Greek islands from experts at the Institute of Classical Archaeology at Charles University.

  • Vasilopita Tradition: Participate in the traditional cutting of the Greek New Year's Cake for good luck.

  • Exhibition "Two Lives, Two Cultures, Two Countries. Greeks in the Czech Lands from the Second Half of the 20th Century to the Present".
