What made you decide to study in the Czech Republic?

First of all, I was attracted to Brno because of the master program Business Management at Masaryk University. I liked the structure of the program and courses, and it was completely suitable to my career plans. Second of all, affordable prices and scholarship that I was granted contributed to the final decision to come to Czech Republic.

Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?

All my expectations regarding studying and living in Brno were exceeded! I just love so much my study program, because it is consisted of some high quality courses, and I am learning exactly what I wanted, and even more than that, because my horizon is expanded. I also highly appreciate the fact that I am offered wide variety of courses from the whole University, so I had some really interesting sport and language courses. I am very satisfied with University facilities, especially with IS, which is very useful and highly practical, and I just love the fact that computer library works 24h per day. And these things are really different from studying in my home country - Serbia. We don't have this cool information system, and we struggle sometimes with bureaucracy.

What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in the Czech Republic?

There are not surprises regarding living in Czech Republic, it is maybe just that Brno is so vivid, full of happenings and activities and opportunities for traveling that you are always busy either with studies or with rich social life. And regarding studies - I was really surprised positively that our Faculty is offering us merit based and accommodation scholarships, which is really nice help and motivation to study even more :)

What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in the Czech Republic?

There are a lot of memorable experiences, but I would like to say that generally I enjoyed most as a student in Czech Republic in rich social life and meeting people from all over the world. This is the most amazing thing because thanks to this experience of studying in Brno I met other cultures as well, and shared a bit of my own culture. Because you usually expect to meet only culture of the country you are living in, but actually you learn a lot about world as well :)

How do you think your time in the Czech Republic has helped your studies and/or your career?

This experience really contributed a lot to my education. I have learned a lot, and got completely new perspective on world. I am so happy that due to high quality classes at my Faculty I got to understand much better the business world, and since I am studying full time master studies, I also learned a lot about academic life. I definitely think that all of this will help me better plan my future career and really use my full potential to have a great career.

Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in the Czech Republic?

I just have to say to all the students who are still thinking about whether they should come or not to Czech Republic, that this was the best decision that I ever made. It has brought so many positive changes to my life that I cannot even express through writing, you just have to live it, to see what I am trying to say. I am studying here already one year and a half and I saw many students and my friends leaving Brno with sadness in their eyes, because they had such a nice time here and they are sad that they have to go, but their hearts are full or happiness that they had this opportunity to live and study here and they grabbed it :)
