STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - 4 JUNE 2026
On 4 June 2026, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm and its charming grounds played host to the fifth International Student and Alumni Meetup Sweden 2026. The event brought together Swedish alumni of Czech universities alongside Czech students currently studying abroad.
The participants were officially welcomed by H.E. the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Sweden, Radek Matula. Following the opening remarks, attendees tested their knowledge of Czech history, culture, and traditions in an entertaining and interactive quiz. Despite the rainy weather, the skies cleared up just in time for everyone to gather outside on the embassy grounds for a group photo.
The evening then transitioned into a vibrant networking session filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The connection among students and alumni was so strong that the networking portion spontaneously extended by an extra hour. Even after the official conclusion, many participants were eager to keep the conversation going and continued networking informally in the city well into the night.
We are incredibly proud to play a role in fostering these long-lasting international friendships and to continue building this wonderful, ever-growing community. We look forward to welcoming even more familiar and new faces at next year's meetup.
