FACULTY OF AGRONOMY AT MENDEL UNIVERSITY IN BRNO 

Miljan Erbez came to study at Mendel University in Brno in 2007 based on a scholarship of the Government of the Czech Republic offered within the program of foreign development cooperation. In 2011, he successfully graduated from a doctoral program Livestock Specialist at the Faculty of Agronomy.

In 2009, he represented Mendel University at the agronomic conference organized by Banja Luka University, which unifies important agricultural organizations in the region as well as specialists from all around the world. Thanks to Miljan, Mendel and other universities from Brno were able to establish cooperation with local educational institutions and other organizations based in this region.

After graduation from Mendel University, Miljan returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina and started to work there as an advisor for the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Serbia. He is a member of the Association of Agricultural and Tourist Engineers of the Republic of Serbia - RADA. He worked as a Senior Executive for EU Integration in the agriculture and food sector for 9 years. He processes various specialized documents such as feasibility studies, projects, analysis, reports, and scientific researches. He is the author or co-author of more than 30 academic and scientific articles and also 5 books on livestock breeding. He has more than 10 years of experience in education, knowledge transfer and agricultural consultancy, specifically in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic and Serbia.

He engages in supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in rural regions and also conducts field research. As a consultant, he participated in several projects funded by the Czech Development Agency, and through these projects, he promoted the establishment of the largest Aberdeen Angus cow farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina (for more information, see www.pzgvozno.com). Furthermore, he initiated cooperation between the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina in cattle exports. In 2019, he actively participated in obtaining a certificate for the export of pigs from the Czech Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
