What made you decide to study in the Czech Republic?
Originally, that was by chance due to the availability of the exchange program. Yet, I decided to go with my studies in the Czech Republic, because I fell in love with Brno.
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
Studies at Masaryk University fully met my expectations, especially since I chose a program related to energy (within the field of international relations) that provides one with transferable skills and economic insights.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in the Czech Republic?
The biggest surprise was...the public transportation system that is simply amazing. Everything runs on time, while there also are night buses that render taxis useless.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in the Czech Republic?
The most memorable experience was my graduation ceremony that was held according to all the traditions preserved at the Faculty.
How do you think your time in the Czech Republic has helped your studies and/or your career?
Time in the Czech Republic helped me a lot to develop as a person, become more independent, living on my own as well as provided me with skills necessary for continuing studies to get PhD, which I am currently working on.
Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in the Czech Republic?
I would advise to stop hesitating and come. No one else can live it through for you. Czechs might surprise you.
