What made you decide to study in the Czech Republic?
I wanted to explore a new place while meeting excellent scientific standards for my doctoral studies
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
Everything looked efficient and definitely met my expectations: Facilities, administration, local colleagues, international people. I found lots of similarities with my native style of study and but also many aspects that expanded my view.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in the Czech Republic?
The biggest surprise were the Czech style of living and of doing things, that I found far more interesting than what I expected.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in the Czech Republic?
Many moments were memorable, both scientifically and personally
How do you think your time in the Czech Republic has helped your studies and/or your career?
I learnt new techniques, grew scientifically and established lots of interantional contacts
Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in the Czech Republic?
To meet local people and local colleagues is a must, in my opinion
