What made you decide to study in the Czech Republic?
I could get to study my best course: Regional Development at Mendel University in Brno. Also, the cost of living is not as high as the rest of Europe.
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
The studies did meet my expectations and also exceeded! The programme was amazing and interesting since it was a multi-disciplinary course. The instructors had rich experiences and were mostly friends. The University has enormous facilities ranging from dormitories to classrooms among others. Everything was very different from my country since in Czech republic there is capital intensive infrastructure in the education sector ranging from internet, online library among others.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in the Czech Republic?
Instructors willing to help students Governments investment into education sector including a stipend for students.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in the Czech Republic?
I enjoyed the Erasmus exchanges!!
How do you think your time in the Czech Republic has helped your studies and/or your career?
It has been a life changing experience the extent that after my Master degree I decided to study a Ph.D.
Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in the Czech Republic?
They should know that the CR is a knowledge hub and the gateway to better education and career opportunities
