What made you decide to study in the Czech Republic?

I had a desire to study in Europe. I chose this country because the Czech Republic is part of the EU and it is possible to travel to other cities and countries. I studied in Brno, this city was selected by my father as it is the second city by population after Prague. The city of Brno is a great city for student life, the prices for students are very loyal, as well as affordable housing.

Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?

Yes! I have taught the Czech language at the Technical University in Brno. I liked the approach of the teachers and the quality of the language courses, as there were no problems when entering the University. I entered the Mendel University as an ecologist and studied there for 3 years, then changed my qualification and entered the Institute of Hotel Business and Tourism.Of course, there is a difference in the quality of education.

What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in the Czech Republic?

Credit system of education, then log in to the electronic portal of the University under your username and password, as well as choosing the date of the exam and the teacher.

What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in the Czech Republic?

How do you think your time in the Czech Republic has helped your studies and/or your career?
