What made you decide to study in the Czech Republic?
My exchange experience in Olomouc in 2016 was wonderful. I like the culture and environment in the Czech Republic. It is budget friendly to study here, and travelling to other countries is easy due to its location. That’s why I decided to come back and study in the Czech Republic.
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
So far, I enjoy my study here. You learn something new every day and there is always someone you can reach out to when you need help.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in the Czech Republic?
Compared to Taiwan that is warm throughout the year, the Czech Republic has four distinct seasons. Although it is really cold for me in winter, but it is also thrilling to see the changes of the views during the year.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in the Czech Republic?
I would say meeting people from many different countries. You’ll get inspired when you get to know them and their culture.
How do you think your time in the Czech Republic has helped your studies and/or your career?
Not only did I learn from lectures but I also learn from everyday life. I am thankful for all the opportunities that I got that made me a bit more independent and confident than before.
Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in the Czech Republic?
Take the chance and create your extraordinary experience.
