The bachelor's degree programme in Finance is to build up modern knowledge and skills in the basic parts of finance, which are corporate finance, public finance, banking, insurance, international finance and financial (foreign exchange) markets, after establishing the necessary terminological and methodological introduction in economic, financial and "supportive" disciplines. In many cases, elective courses are offered in cooperation with experts from practice (CNB, Ministry of Finance, banking and business sphere). Graduates find employment in financial market institutions, in all institutions of the public finance system and in the financial departments of companies; they can also continue their studies at the master's level.

Study

After graduation, you will be able to: - comprehensively assess the advantages and disadvantages of financial products, - navigate problems in macroeconomic and financial analysis and discuss standard financial and monetary policy issues, - have a flexible approach to the labour market and to the choice of further higher education thanks to a comprehensive knowledge of all the basic elements of finance, - work competently with existing financial and economic data and identify problem-solving options and select the most appropriate ones, - through an overview of the latest trends in finance, analyse and present the results of solved problems and tasks independently, including the ability to work in groups, to discuss critically and to defend the results of their own work.
