Specialization: Transport Technology and Management During your studies, you will deepen your understanding of the principles of technology and management of all modes of transport and logistics, without which no forwarding or transport company can operate. By choosing specific courses, you will specialize either in the field of railways and rail transport or in the field of road transport and logistics.

Study

A graduate of the academically oriented Master’s degree programme has broad theoretical knowledge and professional skills which they are able to apply when solving assigned tasks under specific practical conditions in transport and forwarding companies, in companies providing logistics, express and postal services, or in public administration. Within the scope corresponding to the chosen specialization, the graduate demonstrates deeper knowledge and skills in the areas of transport management, optimization of transport and carriage processes, and the creation and management of logistics chains. The graduate has an overview of the legal framework in the field of transport and communications, understands the social and economic contexts of transport, and is aware of its impact on the environment. A graduate of this study programme is able, on the basis of problem analysis, to formulate an assignment for its solution and coordinate the activities of a team in solving the problem. The graduate demonstrates knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts and methods corresponding to the current state of knowledge, is capable of independent professional work, and is able to participate in research activities. The graduate also has communication and presentation skills at a level that enables them to clearly and convincingly present information on the nature of professional problems, as well as their own opinion on how to solve them, to both experts and non-specialists, and to clearly summarize the opinions of other team members.
