Graduates acquire advanced knowledge and skills in the development of concepts for addressing spatial-technical issues and for planning the development of technical infrastructure in a territory, in methods of forecasting further development, and in the provision of transport and technical services in urbanised areas through transport systems, transport structures, transport engineering, and water management engineering. They also gain expertise in investment process management, coordination of integrated technical infrastructure in urbanised areas, and construction permitting procedures.

Study

Graduates will find employment in the preparation, design, implementation, and maintenance of buildings and technical infrastructure facilities, as well as in administrative activities within the field, both at regional level and across the Czech Republic. They may work as construction supervisors for public procurement projects, site managers, building designers for structural and utility infrastructure, construction planners, analysts, building authority officers, or in spatial planning and investment departments, among other positions. Employment opportunities are also available in the commercial sector within investor, development, and contracting companies, in research institutes and centres (such as ÚÚR and VCPD), in public administration as heads of departments (e.g. transport or investment), in building authorities, and with technical infrastructure operators and administrators.
