The Travel and Tourism study programme gives you a practical, economically oriented bachelor's education for professional roles in different areas of tourism. You prepare to solve standard industry situations at mid-level in operational, personnel, financial and organisational areas of all forms of tourism business (travel offices and agencies, accommodation facilities, information centres, etc.) and in public administration.

You gain professional knowledge in: business economics, accounting and taxes, national economy, legal principles, laws, regulations and their interpretations and significance, tourism theory, management, human resources management, hotel management, hospitality management, travel agency management and guiding activities, destination management, marketing, geography, statistics and mathematics, and foreign languages. You develop professional skills in working with people in business economics, management, marketing, hotel management, hospitality and the operation of travel agencies and agencies. You also build skills for intellectual work in all these fields and for managing processes and activities in them. Your general skills come from broader economic awareness and are strengthened in computer, numerical and language competence. Soft skills include effective communication, cooperation, creativity, independence, flexibility, problem solving, planning and organising work, discovery and orientation in information.
