Knowledge of professional ethics, including professional codes of ethics, responsible corporate governance, risk management and compliance, standard procedures for their management. Orientation in professional responsibility of tax advisors, auditors and experts and its application. Knowledge of legal regulation and standards in the field of internal control systems, internal and external audit and their standards at international level. Practical knowledge and skills in the prevention, detection and response to financial fraud. Knowledge of tax fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing and international cooperation in these areas. Data extraction and data analysis using advanced software tools for fraud detection and internal control systems testing.
Graduates of the study programme: - possess a broad knowledge of fraud investigation, evidence procurement, damage assessment and general risk management arising from fraud, embezzlement or other financial crimes, - as part of a corporate project and professional practice, they develop skills in building internal control systems in organisations, internal and external audit advanced data analysis, - by working with a range of corporate partners and institutions, they can transition seamlessly into practice after graduation and work in forensic services teams, - are prepared to pass professional exams and obtain licenses from professional organizations of certified fraud investigators, internal auditors, expert witnesses etc., - will be employed in the forensic services departments of consulting companies, banks, insurance companies, police, courts and other state institutions etc.
