The bachelor's degree programme in Public Administration and Regional Development prepares you on the basis of acquired theoretical and practical skills for positions requiring knowledge of territorial economic policy, especially in public administration at central and municipal level. The programme has been designed as a double programme for managerial and analytical students with an interest in regional and spatial aspects of economics and the role of public administration, who wish to acquire a broad base of economic education and who are interested in education that is immediately applicable in practice, as well as education that can be followed up with studies at a higher level.

After graduation, you will be able to: - orient themselves in economic and financial information thanks to knowledge and skills from various disciplines (mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, economics, business, law, history and philosophy), - identify determinants of the spatial organisation of the economy and describe the role of public administration in this process, - propose basic features of the operation organisation of public administration institutions necessary to ensure the efficiency of their operation and development of the territory, - summarise principles of asset management and budgeting of different levels of public administration and assess their impact on regional development, - describe and apply basic principles and instruments of EU regional policy and critically assess its impact, - acquire the knowledge and skills to master the functions of economic experts or positions, especially at middle management level, in the implementation of territorial economic policy.
