Study

Graduates of the bachelor's programme acquire comprehensive and interconnected knowledge in fundamental technical disciplines. They possess a solid foundation in mathematics, are able to analyze the physical principles underlying technical processes, and are capable of utilizing modern electronics and software tools to solve technical problems. The primary goal of the AVI bachelor’s programme is to prepare graduates with a sufficient theoretical foundation for master’s-level study in a relevant technical field, such as the corresponding master’s programme in “Applied Sciences in Engineering.” However, graduates are also capable of direct employment in the automotive, mechanical, electrical, or optical industries in positions where an analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to navigate rapidly changing modern technologies are preferred. Students may choose one of the following specializations: Optical and Laser Technologies and Measurement (the use of lasers and optics in industry, medicine, and research). Materials for Electrical Engineering (the use of smart materials in the design of modern electronic and electrical devices). Computer Simulations in Physics and Engineering (modern numerical methods and software technologies for complex calculations of fluid flow, structural deformation, energy transfer, etc.).
