Study

The undergraduate programme in Computer Science provides students with a secure command of ICT at the user level, especially in the area of multimedia, which can be used both for their needs and as an effective educational tool. Students can understand how hardware and operating systems work. They are able to create Python programs, simple databases and static web pages. Students learn the essential programming techniques and the mathematical foundations necessary for application in computer science. They also carefully monitor current developments in technology. Selected topics are suitably didactically transformed for elementary school pupils. They are also familiar with the overview of computer science curriculum in the Czech Republic and abroad. The programme prepares students for graduate study. "
