The aim of the study programme "Risk Management" is to provide students with the appropriate theoretical and methodological basis necessary to carry out the individual phases of the risk management process with an emphasis on the procedures for identifying, analyzing, evaluating and treating risks, including assessing the financial cost of implementing measures for risk prevention and reduction. Students will also acquire the knowledge, skills and general competencies necessary for risk management in the public administration system or ensuring traffic safety.

The applicant will be included in the admissions process after the required documents have been delivered (uploaded to the e-application) and an administrative fee has been paid.

Study

The graduate of the study programme is equipped with professional knowledge in relation to the assessment and treatment of risks, including basic theoretical knowledge in relation to the economic assessment of risks and measures for their treatment. At the same time, the graduate has extensive knowledge in the field of security management, population protection and crisis management in ensuring internal security and national defense. Graduates will also acquire knowledge, skills and general competencies in the field of assessment and treatment of territorial risks using geographic information systems, specialized software tools and methods of applied statistics and in the field of assessment and treatment of risks in the framework of ensuring safe operation at the workplace and operational management using specialized software tools.
