The aim of the professionally oriented Sports Management study programme is to prepare graduates for their role in the management and performance of assigned activities within the framework of sports activities or within the management of a sports organization, both in the private, public and non-profit spheres, in positions such as managers (officials) sports clubs; or employees of public administration or local government in activities aimed at supporting sports and physical education, sports infrastructure management, project sector focusing on projects in the field of sports. Graduates have the ability to make independent decisions and apply a systematic and creative approach to problem solving. In addition to specialized knowledge and skills in the field of economics, marketing and kinanthropology, graduates also have general knowledge and skills in the field of management, business economics, law, and above all in the field of marketing communication. Furthermore, they are able to apply basic mathematical and statistical methods and information technologies, they control and can actively use their knowledge of the English language in professional communication. The structure of the study programme develops creativity and increases students' competences, their social communication, combination skills, innovative thinking, which is accompanied by significant development of technological changes.

The core of the study programme consists of disciplines focused at the beginning of the study on economics and management and insight into disciplines based on the field of kinanthropology. Subsequently, emphasis is placed on developing these theoretical disciplines to the next level, namely the professional level.
