The Bachelor’s programme in Web Technologies aims to prepare university-educated specialists in the development and testing of web applications, information systems, and web services. The programme is IT-oriented with a strong emphasis on practical skills and real-world application. Students become familiar with all phases of software product development and operation, with a focus on modern web technologies. A key priority is efficient team-based development using contemporary collaborative tools and environments. Teaching is supported by modern laboratory facilities and project-based cooperation with technology companies, significantly enhancing students’ practical skills and employability.
The application to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Pardubice is submitted electronically via the e-application system. Applicants select a study programme, fill in the required information, and submit the application online; it is neither printed nor sent by post. After registration, a field-specific application number is generated, which can be used to track the application status. The process includes payment of an administrative fee of CZK 650, which is non-refundable and must be paid for each application by bank transfer or online payment. The application is considered submitted only after the fee has been paid.
Graduates of the Web Technologies programme possess broad knowledge in computer science, mathematics, economics, and related disciplines. Professionally, they are skilled in the analysis, design, development, testing, and operation of web applications. They are familiar with systems analysis, advanced programming techniques, database systems, communication protocols, cybersecurity, and user interface design including UX. They are capable of independently designing and implementing web solutions, analysing user requirements, and evaluating user experience. Graduates typically work as developers, testers, analysts, system administrators, project managers, or consultants in companies focused on web technologies, as well as in enterprise IT departments or educational institutions.
