In the Applied Mathematics programme, you will master the fundamental areas of mathematics at a level corresponding to the lower (bachelor’s) level of university study. Emphasis is placed on mastering methods of mathematical analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, probabilistic and statistical approaches, and numerical and computational mathematics. You will become familiar with a range of possible applications of mathematics, particularly in biology, engineering, and economics, and you will be able to formulate and analyze relevant mathematical models in these disciplines. You will acquire the ability and be prepared to analyze problems and propose possible solutions.
