Students of this Bachelor’s study programme gain in-depth knowledge of geography. Moreover, they become familiar with scientific journals and the methods of geographical research.
Students of this study programme become experts in physical, social, historical and cultural geography, cartography, geoinformatics, macroeconomics and economic statistics. Emphasis is laid on the understanding of basic terminology and conceptual thinking. They gain the knowledge of at least one foreign language at the B2 level. After graduation, you can continue your studies in the follow-up Master’s study programme. After graduation, you can find employment in public administration or institutions focused on regional issues.
