Study

The study programme includes both theoretical and practical courses. You gain in-depth insight into radio, telephone and television communication, you learn to manufacture and program a robot and possess knowledge of microprocessor, telecommunication and control technology. You learn everything about electronic driving units, from their design and mathematical modeling, to simulations and repairs. You learn how to work with computer technology used to design electrical devices and to create models of electrical and thermal conditions inside a device. The study programme Electrical Engineering and Information Technology provides students with expert knowledge gained through participation in required optional courses. This study programme is an excellent preparation for the study of the follow-up master's programmes. Students can focus on electronics, power systems, electro-energetics, or materials and technologies for electrical engineering. After graduation, you can find employment as excellent engineers, designers and test engineers. Companies, such as Škoda Auto, MBtech and ZF Engineering Plzeň, could be interested in hiring skilled graduates of this study programme.
