This study programme focuses on general linguistic theory and knowledge of the Russian language in all its language levels. Students become familiar with basic methods used in literary theory and understand contemporary literary development. They are able to analyse the language in terms of stylistics and know how to evaluate the aesthetic level of a creative text.

During your studies, students focus on the Russian language, history and culture. Moreover, you learn how to use the theoretical knowledge and skills in their teaching practice. The study includes educational excursions or internship programmes. After graduation, you can continue your studies in the Master’s degree programme Teacher Training in the Russian Language for Elementary or Secondary School. Moreover, they can work as translators or interpreters.
