The Master’s degree program in Intelligent Transportation and Logistics is a two-year program that builds upon the planned three-year Bachelor’s degree program in Intelligent Transportation and Logistics. The program is designed to meet the requirements for training specialists in the field of operations planning and the operational management of logistics processes; for example, this includes specialists recruited from positions such as dispatchers of large logistics systems, logistics process planners, and first-level managers in various areas of warehouse management, road, rail, and air transport dispatchers, production planning staff, production process staff, etc. These professionals are needed in every medium-sized and larger company. In the subsequent master’s degree program, knowledge and skills focused on digital and intelligent technologies in the 4-Transport education field are deepened and applied.
The Intelligent Transportation and Logistics program is designed to train university-educated professionals who will be able to apply engineering approaches based on generally accepted academic computational methods and procedures to solve problems. The program offers the opportunity to leverage extensive, long-established contacts with industry partners both in organizing and delivering instruction and in addressing practical technical problems through seminars and, in particular, thesis projects. Graduates of the Intelligent Transportation and Logistics program will be able to act independently and make competent decisions in changing conditions and contexts across all modes of transportation and logistics systems, with a focus on the use of intelligent “SMART” technologies in the context of the Industry 4.0 and Digital Factory 2.0 initiatives, will be able to design and measure the parameters of transport processes in transportation systems, assess their benefits for carriers and users of transport systems, design large-scale transport systems for road and rail transport, including their coordination within multimodal transport, and evaluate their efficiency, reliability, and safety in coordination with intelligent transport systems. Graduates are able to creatively solve complex technical and economic problems, coordinate and manage technological processes within individual modes of transport while utilizing intelligent information technologies. They possess specialized technical and economic knowledge regarding the role of transport and logistics and have the necessary broad
