Graduates will find employment primarily in the construction industry, with a focus on building materials, structural diagnostics, and rehabilitation of structures. They may work in manufacturing, research, and testing organisations engaged in the development, production, and evaluation of construction materials and components, as well as in laboratories focused on materials testing and quality control. They also find significant employment in design and construction companies, where they contribute to the design and assessment of structures with respect to material suitability, durability, and compatibility. Typical roles include structural diagnostics specialists, rehabilitation technicians, production technologists, and quality management professionals. Further opportunities include positions in construction and engineering companies dealing with structural failures and building refurbishment, in the field of sustainable construction and recycling of building materials, as well as in public administration and specialised institutions focused on construction regulation, standardisation, and technical supervision.
