What made you decide to study in Czechia?

I decided to pursue the opportunity to study in Czechia on a government scholarship because of its excellent education system and the chance to experience a new culture and environment.

Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?

My studies in Czechia have exceeded my expectations. The academic environment is stimulating, and I have access to a wide range of resources that enrich my learning experience. The study program is well-structured and aligned with my academic interests. The instructors are knowledgeable approachable, and provide valuable guidance throughout my studies. The university facilities are also modern and well-maintained, which greatly enhances the overall learning experience.

What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?

I was pleasantly surprised by the sense of privacy and independence most Czechs maintain daily. It's common to see people minding their own business, which fosters a sense of personal freedom and respect for one another's space in the community. This aspect of Czech culture was interesting and respectful.

What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?

One of the highlights of my student life in Czechia is the opportunity to make friends from all corners of the globe. Connecting with people from diverse backgrounds enriched my cultural knowledge and broadened my horizons, fostering a global perspective that I'll carry with me throughout my life.

How do you think your time in Czechia has helped your studies and/or your career?

My time in Czechia has significantly benefited both my studies and future career. Studying in an international environment has exposed me to diverse perspectives and approaches, enhancing my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It has also improved my adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills, which are invaluable in today's global job market.
