What to study

There are several ways to study in Czechia. For example, you can come for a summer school, a one or two semester exchange programme or a full degree programme. Have a look at the options below and then search for the type of education you want.


1) Degree programmes

Would you like to pursue a university degree in Czechia? Higher education institutions offer accredited degree programmes at three levels - Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral, as well as lifelong learning courses. Search our portal of available degree programmes in Czechia by field of study. 

Czech universities are also involved in several Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD). These are distinguished by their academic excellence and run by international consortia of higher education institutions. With EMJMD you can receive a full degree scholarship for such a Master-level international study programme. 

2) short-term study programmes

Would you like to come to Czechia for a shorter (non-degree) study stay? You can come for a study abroad with the Erasmus+ programme.

There are also other available exchange study programmes in Czechia, such as Central European Exchange Programme CEEPUS, AKTION programme, grant programmes under The International Visegrad Fund, or Fulbright Programme. Browse the different types of exchange programmes and associated scholarships.

3) MBA programmes

Several public and private universities offer Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes. Besides universities, you can study MBA programmes at other educational institutions too. In case of questions you can turn to the Czech Association of MBA Schools (CAMBAS), which is the institution aiming at controlling and improving the MBA post-gradual educational system in Czechia.

4) Czech Language COURSES AND FOUNDATION PROGRAMMES

Higher education institutions offer Czech language courses of varying length, level and intensity for international students. You may also want to consider foundation programmes to help you improve your academic and language skills, while familiarising yourself with a new culture and environment.

5) Summer AND winter schools

Take advantage of summer or winter schools offered by Czech universities!  For example, the Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies are ideal for people from all over the world who want to improve their Czech language skills, get to know Czech culture and rich history, and discover the beautiful Czech countryside.
