What made you decide to study in Czechia?

I considered the quality education that it has to offer, the international atmosphere, the low cost of living, and the Czech Republic being one of the safest countries in the world.

Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?

Studying in the Czech Republic exceeded my expectations. I actually enjoy learning from my professors and colleagues as I feel no judgement at all. I also like the interactive and engaging methods of teaching. It is very manageable, practical, and motivating to study in university.

What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?

I was surprised that the study-life balance is very much attainable here. There's time for socializing, working, and studying without it being a hassle.

What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?

As a student here, I enjoy meeting people coming from different backgrounds and learning about their first-hand experiences in life. I also enjoy the central location of the Czech Republic as it is very accessible and easy to travel to nearby countries.

How do you think your time in Czechia has helped your studies and/or your career?

Not only do I get to learn within my classrooms, but also from colleagues who specialize in fields that I am interested in. My time here has helped me build my network and connections, which will definitely benefit my career in the future.

Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in Czechia?

Go for it. I had doubts and fear in the beginning but having stayed for a year here now, I can say that moving here was the best decision I made. I would advice you to consider the level of safety, quality education, affordable cost of living, and student life that the Czech Republic has to offer. There are lots of opportunities awaiting for you.
