What made you decide to study in Czechia?
Curiosity! Before I made this decision, I didn’t know much about Czechia. I started with the question, what if it’s a good choice? I spent a lot of time searching and answering my questions, and then I found out it’s more than a good choice; it’s the #smartchoice for me!
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
Quite yes! It's where you "learn" something, not just study. Mendel University has nine facilities. If you're a student at one of them, you can study any course from other facilities and departments, which I found exciting and encouraging. An opportunity for more knowledge and skills.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?
Unique! On my first day in Prague, I asked myself if I had travelled here by time machine or by plane. It's a spectacular metropolis unlike any other. Then I moved to Brno, or I call it the integrated city. Transportation, shopping, restaurants, all services, and everything you need is around the corner! With affordable prices.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?
Friendship. Anywhere I travel now, I believe I will run into a buddy I met in Czechia. Thanks to the Erasmus program, many amazing students visit us every semester. We spent a fantastic time together at parties and events, and trips and holidays left us with unforgettable memories. Also, with full-time students here, We are Family!
How do you think your time in Czechia has helped your studies and/or your career?
It's my leap! Living in a constant trundle makes it easier for you to keep going and getting well. Here, I gained knowledge gained experience and enhanced my plans.
Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in Czechia?
We have a popular quote in Arabic that says: من سار على الدرب وصل. Means: Where's a will, there's a way. If you have the will, do it! Make the #smartchioce as I did.
