What made you decide to study in Czechia?

I decided to pursue my master's degree in Czechia because of my previous experience studying here as an exchange student. It was the most amazing period of my life because it opened up my view of the world, I made friends with people coming from all corners of the world, I enjoyed the courses at my faculty, and I fell in love with Czechia right off the bat. So, I decided to do it all over again without any hesitation.

Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?

As I am heading into the third week of my first semester as a master's student, I would say the teaching pace here is much faster and packed compared to studying in my home country, Taiwan. I am getting used to it, but one thing I am certainly happy with about the edaucaion in Czechia is that it is no doubt high quality.

What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?

Most young and even middle-aged people speaking fluent English, and even if you know only a limited amount of Czech, they are usaully willing to help international students or expats.

What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?

I really enjoy the international learning environment and how friendly people are. As this is my third time studying in Czechia, I like the teachers here are nice, they care about students and always are willing to offer assiatance or open for disscussion.

How do you think your time in Czechia has helped your studies and/or your career?

It has given me a great amount of cross-cultural exposure, and I am able to network here and expand my connenctions with Czechia, so I am confident my time here will help me deepen my root in Czechia and I will be able to apply the knowledge gained through my studies to pursue a career.

Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in Czechia?

I would say Czechia has everything a student is looking for - high quality education, affordability, accessibilty, safety, international exposure, and friendly people. And there is no better time, the best time is now, the moment you make up your mind, your journey starts right away.
